overwhelming depression

I just finished Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. It took five and a half hours. I am very, very sad. I really did hope that the character who dies wouldn't be who it is. The romantic pairings make me happy, but man... I shall read the next book most avidly. A fond farewell to a wonderful character.
